We should close May 7th. This is my wife's dream. Going into a 30 year mortage pushing 50 sort of kills my dream of retiring at 62. She is more than worthy of this blessing so I guess I will just have to plan or working until 80 or seeing that I will have a farm to buy when I buy the farm. Thanks for your blessing! May your dreams come true if they are the ones that God gives you else they will be nightmares becoming reality. Shalom!

Lonnie, I like the new Message Board. I have a question to ask for anyone caring to reply. Are any of these Pastor Web sites bogus? It seems the more resume's I send out their is no attempt made by the church in response to them. Once again I am glad for the new board. Servant.

The sad fact is that churches do not respond to the majority of resumes sent to them. They simply put them in the reject pile, for whatever reason, and seldom write back to the candidate.
There is a section on the message board that pertains to the search committee lack of response, you might want to check it out.

QUESTION FOR LONNIE As many others have said, this is a great board. However all good things must come to an end. Will the posts stay on permantely, or will there be a "cleansing" as such from time to time. Just curious 8)

I will do a cleansing every so often, trying to determine what a good time period would be. Thinking around 45-60 days.
What is everyone elses opinion on how long posts should stay around?

I have to ask everyone this Question. Why, do we continue to listen to a miniority of ACLU people tell us that the Pledge of Allegiance is Unconstitutional?
Our Country was founded on the very principle that GOD is Soverign and we are a Nation Under GOD. The last I checked we are not apart of a Communist Regime like in the former but still Union of Soviet Socialistic Republic(USSR). I am glad to be living in a free Country called the United States of America. However, we will cease to be free when GOD is erased from Society as whole and our Eduational System decides it is better to allow same sex education, and passing out condems to elevate the problem. If Christianity is to prevail we need to wage a war of prayer and elect public officals to combat the aggression that the ACLU and other small minorities of political activists who think eliminating GOD from our Nation will solve thier problems. Please join me in prayer, because just a month ago the courthouse where I live decided instead of continuing to fight the Indiana ACLU about the removal of the 10 Commandments, the city of Elkhart, Indiana decided that the cost would be to much in court, and removed them from the front lawn of the City Building where they had been on display since the 50's. Remember ONE NATION UNDER GOD is the very premise of who we were founded on The LORD JESUS CHRIST. May the LORD help us all in these days as we wait for HIS Return. Thanks Captain. Glory Be To GOD AMEN!!!

I've just found your message board and am looking forward to sharing Christian fellowship with you all. Thanks for providing such a great service for us. I like the board's colors and layout. Now if I can figure out how to use it. _____________________________ Gwen www.bible-ebooks.com/index.htmlResources for pastors and teachers.

There are some of us still around! I think unless you request to be notified of posts, schedules keep folks from checking in regularly. We all need reminders from time to time!

I can't seem to start a new topic nor can I see a way to pick up my message. Methinks me profile is messed up since I am still showing as a moderator and also as a new member. Y'all will have to holler at me through mavmin@earthlink.net.
