Brothers and Sisters Please go back to the begining of this thread. You will see that the question was should we be involved in a "spiritural" gathering such as, vacation bible school, pulpit exchange etc. Nothing was said about should we love those who we may disagree with doctrinally. Yes we should love all from other denominations, especially those who could very likely be lost. This comes very close to should we have pulpit exchange etc with Muslims, NO!!! Should we love Muslims ? YES!!! Should we love those who worship satan, Yes, but dont join them. I am not going to invite an infidel to preach from our church pulpit, would i go preach from theirs, u bet i will. Yes most of these folk are very sincere, but last i heard sincerety isnt on the road map to heaven or to Christ. Remember "depart from me... for i never knew you?? Were the the phariees sincere? Yes, but what did Christ say to them? He called them white washed graves full of dead mens bones. We are commanded to love the lost and all in this world, but we are also commanded to come out from among them and be ye seperate. There really isnt a fine line here, but some choose for their own benifit to make this a gray area. Aint no gray areas in the Word of God, you will either follow Christ or you will follow man and his made up doctrines and religions leading many millions straight to hell. Your choice. Jethro

Amen Jethro The orginal post had a another question. Have you had any experince with said situation, whther good or bad. Allow me to share one example with two applications. Subject: COMMUNION 1. While attending a chapel in Germany, I was asked to serve communion during a service. I was very concerned as I knew that many who would partake were not born-again. Therefore I declined to serve communion. 2. I spoke with a Baptist chaplain in a remote area. (He was the only chaplain for that unit). His doctrine was that of closed communion. I asked how he handled that in his chapel, without comprosing his doctirne, yet still serve the needs of the chapel. He said that from time to time he would have a guest speaker, and would ask the speaker to serve communion. The chaplain said the folks of the chapel never figured out that there was a guest speaker the first Sunday of each month!
